Our Story

Simply Rooted was born from a deeply personal journey.

When I was 23, my mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. She passed away just a year later. She was a marathon runner and personal trainer, the picture of health, and her diagnosis left me searching for answers.

As I began learning more about the thousands of chemicals present in everyday products, I started making small changes in my own home. I learned to bake sourdough, grow herbs, cook more from scratch, and choose more natural products.

Along the way, I discovered something unexpected: slowing down and returning to simple routines brought a sense of peace and joy back into my life.

But I also realized that many people love the idea of homesteading and intentional living, yet don’t have the land, time, or desire to live on a farm. 

Simply Rooted was created to bring homestead-inspired rhythms into modern homes, no acreage required.

Each seasonal box is thoughtfully curated with beautiful, practical items from small farms and artisan makers to help make everyday home life feel a little slower, simpler, and more rooted.

When are boxes shipped?

Boxes ship four times a year:

- January
- April
- July
- October

Each box is curated specifically for the season it's delivered.

When will I be charged?

When you subscribe, your first payment is processed immediately to reserve your subscription and secure the current seasonal box.

After, subscriptions will renew on the 20th of the month before your next box ships.

For example:
July box → billed June 20
October box → billed September 20

How often will I be billed?

Your subscription is billed once every 3 months—not every month. When you first subscribe, your payment is processed immediately to reserve your current seasonal box. After that, you'll only be billed on 20th of the month prior to the next seasonal box. 

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes! You can cancel anytime before your next renewal date. To avoid being charged for your next seasonal box, your subscription must be canceled before the 20th of the month prior to shipment.

Can I skip a box?

At this time, we do not offer the option to skip individual boxes. You may cancel your subscription before your next renewal if needed.

What is your refund policy?

Because each box is curated and packed specifically for our subscribers, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

If your box or an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 10 days of delivery with photos of the damage. Depending on availability, we'll gladly replace the damaged item or send a replacement box. If inventory is limited, we will provide a refund. 

Is this a recurring subscription?

Yes. Your subscription automatically renews every quarter until you choose to cancel. Your spot is reserved each season, so you never have to worry about missing a box.
